About this single: The four bowls heard in this recording are all antique Manipuri Himalayan singing bowls. Owing to their shallow profile and gently outward-leaning walls, Manipuri singing bowls produce a gentle and calming sound, ideal for relaxation and meditation. The bowl in the artwork is one of the four Manipuri bowls heard in the track. This bowl resonates at 197 Hz (approximately a G3). It has rough-textured outer walls and a smooth interior.

About this single: The three tracks on this release were recorded on a very rare and ethically-sourced antique handmade Himalayan mountain shaman bowl. The bowl produces variations in sound frequencies (pitches) depending on whereabouts on the rim it is struck. Its bell-like sound is timeless, deeply meditative, and spiritual. Owing to its history, this bowl would have been used for shamanic rituals and divination ceremonies. Track 3 combines the beautiful, meditative sound of this shamanic mountain bowl with the relaxing and calming sound of a stream by the River Bollin recorded in Hale, Cheshire.

About this EP: The four tracks on this release were recorded in July 2023 in one session during a heavy rain shower. The recordings of the singing bowls were made underneath a skylight window. Two condenser microphones were directed at the window to capture the sound of the heavy rain in stereo, and a pair of matched omnidirectional condenser microphones were directed at the singing bowls. The end result is an immersive and unique set of four recordings, ideal for relaxation, meditation, or even for falling asleep to. The antique bowls that were used in this EP are four Jambati bowls, a Mani bowl, and a Dolpo tantric bowl.
