About this single: ‘Aether and Air’ is a two-track single featuring the healing tones of the four rare antique Himalayan singing bowls shown in the artwork. The four bowls are: two Dolpo Tantric bowls (shown in the front left and back right), one Tantric shaman bowl (shown in the centre, and one small Thadobati ‘cup’ bowl (the smallest bowl with straight walls shown second from right in the artwork).

In track 1, ‘Aether and Air’, the sounds of the four antique Himalayan singing bowls are combined with the sounds of the summer dawn chorus, recorded in Hale, Altrincham, near Manchester, UK.

In track 2 ‘Air and Water’, the sounds of these four bowls are combined with the therapeutic sounds of the Mediterranean Sea, recorded in Sanary-sur-Mer, Provence, France, by Nicholas Peters.
