Face-to-Face Singing Bowl Sound Healing Workshop

Date and time: To be confirmed

Cost per participant: to be confirmed.

In this practical workshop, you will learn how metal Himalayan singing bowls (often incorrectly referred to as ‘Tibetan’ bowls) can help to positively transform your personal physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing.

During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to play a variety of my Himalayan singing bowls, learning different playing techniques for personal meditation and self-healing. You will also learn about buying bowls and which type of bowl suits your own personal requirements. There will be time throughout the workshop to ask questions.

Buying Himalayan singing bowls

Please note that I do not sell Himalayan singing bowls. If you are looking to buy a bowl, I buy my Himalayan singing bowls from Temple Sounds run by Alex Jackson, the leading supplier in the UK. You can buy bowls from Alex on Etsy using this link (which includes a discount code).

Workshop Structure

– You will be introduced to many different types of Himalayan (metal) singing bowls, including bowls for meditation, bowls for therapy, and bowls for ritual. You will be introduced to handmade singing bowls of varying shapes and sizes, from modern singing bowls to a variety of antique bowls (including Bodhi, Goalbati, Mani, Manipuri, Naga, Tantrik, and more).

– You will get to experience playing my bowls using a range of mallets and wands. I will teach you various playing techniques to produce different sounds and you will experience first-hand the powerful vibrations produced from each bowl.

– You will learn about the urban myths associated with metal singing bowls and the chakras.

– You will learn to play bowls for focusing and personal meditation, as well as how to play a bowl for self-healing, including how to safely place a bowl on your own body.
